5 things I do to put myself in a good mood

1. LISTEN TO OLD TUNES
By old tunes, I mean things that maybe considered as guilty pleasures, Avril Lavigne, Kate Nash, Spice Girls, Mayday Parade, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy & Jimmy Eat World. Basically everything I was listening to constantly in 2005-2011. Cheers me right up!
I really love baking with something on in the background like F.R.I.E.N.D.S or Fresh Prince. It just really relaxes me.
3. LISTEN TO UPLIFTING PODCASTS
I've been loving The Fringe Of It by Liv Purvis & Charlotte Jacklin recently! I usually listen to them when I'm doing things like sorting through stuff or editing!
4. DO THE THING YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING OFF
Do those little niggly things you've been putting off. I always find when I start to do those things I feel really productive and end up doing lots more than I intended to do in the day!
5. GO SWIMMING
Lately I've been trying to an hour swim at least two times a week and I've been loving it! I've always been a bit of water baby but have finally got round to making an effort to go every week. I really notice a difference in my mood if I only manage to do it once a week instead of twice too - so I know it definitely helps to bring my mood up!
