So we are back with another blogger interview! This time with the beautiful Sophie from Popcorn and Glitter, a UK blogger with the most incredible style and sass!
Please make sure you check out all of her channels, and of course, her beautiful blog.
If any fellow bloggers or creatives out there would like to get involved with doing an interview with me, please feel free to drop me a line! x
How would you describe your blog to a new reader?
I'd have to say it's a film and lifestyle blog so it's mostly film but with some food and general adventures thrown in.
Your style is amazing, who or what inspires your fashion choices?
Aw thank you so much! I think my style is a mix of high street fashion combined with alternative style. I really love vintage clothes so anything that looks 70s/80s/90s I just love.
What advice would you give to someone who is going through a creative slump or 'writer's block'?
I think everyone gets writers block from time to time and it can just be a phase. When I find myself lacking inspiration, I try to visit somewhere new or even just go for a wander round my local city. Sometimes you can find inspiration in unlikely places but it's important to go looking for it
What is one album you could not live without?
OHH that's a tough one! I don't have great taste in music but the albums I always find myself loving are Katy Perry's Teenage Dream and No Doubt: The Singles
And finally, what would be your advice for someone who wants to start up a blog?
Find your niche, for sure. I always find that bloggers create their best content when it's something they're genuinely passionate about and sets them apart from everyone else. I also think it's important to not go in expecting it to be easy or a way of getting freebies. If you're only doing it because you want people to send you things than probably best you leave it. A lot of bloggers work very hard for years before they get anything like that and just because you have a blog doesn't mean that anyone owes you anything. Work hard on your content and opportunities will naturally follow over time
