1. Flowers TV series
Flowers is an incredible dark comedy by Will Sharpe. The series follows is tells the story of the Flowers family, a slightly dysfunctional family, through some really troubling times. The series touches on themes of mental illness but is portrayed in an incredibly heart warming and real way. It is available on demand on All 4 to watch now.

2. Captain Fantastic
Absolutely beautiful film directed by Matt Ross staring one of my favourite actors Viggo Mortensen (A.K.A Aragorn). It explores a family who live in complete isolation and are eventually forced to re-enter society after receiving some devastating news. A beautiful story that will have you laughing and crying from one moment to the next.

3. Bon Iver's new album 22 A Million

Awesome new album by Bon Iver, but don't take my word for it, go have a lil listen! I can't wait to go and see them live next February!

4. The Humans by Matt Haig

Matt Haig is one of my favourite authors and this book did not disappoint at all.
The story focuses around an alien who has been sent from space to destroy the workings of a mathematician and to do so he has to take the form of him. At first he is disgusted by life on earth but then he slowly gains affection for his earth family and starts to appreciate the simple things in life like  poetry and peanut butter sandwiches!
